i've been getting emails left and right from the avid readers and they simply cannot wait for more fotos of the peruvian adventure. they actually hope that it doesn't end! so here we go. we headed on our bus-train trip to aguas calientes, the very strange town at the foothills of machu piccu. (how many different ways have i spelled that? eh. whateves. i don't think the incas wrote in English anyway.) so we were off to aguas calientes.


we decided to spend the night in aguas calientes so we could catch the first bus to machu piccu the following morning and beat the crowds who came in on the day train. our hostel proved to be rather nice, having a good vista of some falls.


we spent the day wandering around the 2x2 town. there wasn't too much to see. just some statues.



we also encountered a weird bug.


we had a nice pizza dinner. across the street from us was a nice mexican restaurant. i mean we think it was mexican. it had some interesting "mexican" items on the menu.


we went to bed early as the next day was a 4AM wake up to go see machu. but oh no! i'm tired and want to sleep. that will have to wait. but here is a preview: adams head arriving at machu.
